Public Transportation Schedules

How disgruntled was I this morning when--in the snow--I made my way to the train station, only to find that the trains were running on a holiday schedule. For Presidents' Day. Honestly, who get's off for Presidents' Day? In Wisconsin, not that many. Out here, however, it's apparently a big deal. And the first train wasn't going to be leaving until 9:35! I wouldn't get to Boston until 10:55. Which means I wouldn't get to the office until almost 11:30.

Ridiculous.

So I had to drive, in the snow, to work. Talk about the worst day ever to be forced to drive in. However, I must concede that it the drive went fine, and I was in the office (after parking right in front of the building--hello, miracle) by 10 to 8:00am.

Not that I have much work to do. There won't be any donations to process (holiday). I do have some packets to put together. Oooh. Packets.

Anyway. I went and say Million Dollar Baby last night. Wow. It was good. It was really good. Unforunately I haven't seen any of the other films nominated for Best Picture, but it seems like this movie should win. Clint Eastwood was amazing.
