Valentine's, Nukes, Explositions, and Howard Dean

Wow, what a day. And it's only 10:00AM.

I can't express how excited I am about Howard Dean becoming chair of the Democratic Party. Old Dems grumble; stick-in-the-mud pundits dispair; but Dean is just what we need! He can bring excitement back to the Party. He brings energy, grass roots power, and fresh air.

I don't pretend to know anything about North Korea except that the people of North Korea are in horrible circumstances for the most part, and that their leader is about as crazy as you can get. And they might have nuclear weapons. It seems most people think it likely, and I don't know what's more worrisome: that Kim Jong-Il is crazy enough to use one, or he's at least unprincipled enough to sell them to whoever will buy one.

"Regular" bombs seem to have gone off everywhere: Iraq, or course, and also the Philippines, and Lebonon.

But for me Valentine's has been nothing but good. And I'm going to try and focus on that. After all, there's not a thing I can do about North Korea. But I can enjoy Valentine's Day flowers!
