I'm Hooked--on PBS(?)

I have a new favorite must-see show on TV, and it's on PBS.

Yes, you heard me right. I said PBS (and it's not a NOVA special).

Quite by accident I stumbled upon the first part of MasterPiece Theatre's Bleak House. I'm hooked. I didn't realize it would be a mini-series, and when it abruptldy ended, I was crushed. I can't believe I have to wait until next Monday.

Catch up and join the fun by visiting the website. And, yes, that is Gillian Anderson (Scully!). She now lives in London (turns out she grew up there, who knew?) and does mostly West End Theater. I must admit I did spend a lot of last night thinking, "Is that Gillian Anderson? No, it can't be. But it does look like her... no, impossible."

There are plenty of kooky Dickens' characters, plot twists and mysteries, cute British guys (notably the adorable and philanthropic Dr. Woodcourt) and period costumes. What's not to love?
