On Wisconsin!

Not only did the University of Wisconsin win the Women's Frozen Four and the Men's Frozen Four (making us champions!) I also happen to be in Wisconsin and so is almost everyone I know (except Rebes -- oh and Jed. What up?).

A nice long weekend back at the "ancestral" home is so nice and relaxing -- and oodles of fun!

Laura and I did lots of shopping, and I bought a skirt at Old Navy in a size much smaller than I have in years (it has to be some kind of fluke). I also bought some fun and crazy shoes at DSW (why does the small DSW in Green Bay have better shoes than the giant one in Boston?). I can't find a link to a picture (I got them at an uber-clearance price of $14 so I'm guessing they're a style from last season. No worries, I'll take a pic and post it .... Someday).

(Funny side story: I went to find a link to the official website for the city of Green Bay. However, I accidentally typed in Green Gay WI which brought up many interesting sites such as: www.dairylanddrag.net)

Mother wants me to let everyone know that there is a DePere, WI website (which is where I'm really from, not the bustling metropolis of Green Bay).

Unfortunately, my visit is almost over. I need to go pack up my belongings.
