Cow Safari

Jon and I spent most of Saturday on the hunt for cows. Despite the inclimate weather, it turned out to be a really fun day. We started at the Prudential Center, where we found the sports-related cows and the uber-cute "Make way for cow-lings" -- a bronze-colored cow with wings, followed by a "flock" of little bronze calves with wings ( a la the "Make Way for Ducklings" bronze statue in the Public Garden).

From there we went to Boston Public Library and Copley Square. There were many cows on display here. I think my favorite might be the Picowso because of the beret it was wearing.

Cows were scattered along Boylston Street, around Boston Common ... Downtown Crossing, City Hall Plaza (looking positvely soviet-era depressing since its inception), and Faneuil Hall. In all, we saw 57 of the 117 cows. Not bad for one day's work.

I will see them all. I will.

Rats! My portable card reader is broken ... Right now I have no way of uploading photos! Arg. This is a problem that needs to be fixed asap! Don't worry ... you will see cows!

If you eat cow meat, I expect you to keep it separate from any dairy products.
