An easy way to be good!

Compliments of my daily 5 Minutes of Caring email from CoolPeopleCare.org:

If you like saving money as much as you like saving time, try this: the next time you come across money saver such as a "buy one, get one" offer, give the one you get for free to a local food bank. While it's good to stock your shelf with extra soup or black beans, consider stocking the shelf of a nonprofit that provides free food to those who need it. If you've never clipped those Sunday coupons before, this is a good reason to start. Fill your buggy with good offers and good food for a good cause.

Such an excellent idea! This way, you can shop (always fun) and be good, kind, and neighborly to your fellow citizens who need a little help. What's not to love? Better yet, you may want to take a moment and call the local food pantry first, make sure they have room for your donations.
