Ever since I viewed pictures of my friend's new house - and then succumbed to the latest edition of Decorating on a Budget (thank you Better Homes and Gardens publications) - I've been itching to organize and decorate the apartment.
The pantry is a mess (bottles of wine next to empty flower pots and a buck of screws) and the kitchen cupboards are a disaster (for such a large kitchen there is very little storage).
And I keep guiltily thinking of my seldom-used sewing machine and all the projects I have lined up (in my head).
Lo and behold, what do I see on Crazy Aunt Purl's website? This:![](https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/blogger_img_proxy/AEn0k_sm03GErmaDQD0LhFsuJr5H4wee6HomCPuqRXpRmN8GlkyvoOAAaQxWW7AqFnRjOfM3xGe-1jhuFz3B7PYVOhrd9VgUiPqhJON7bolpf3VgEEsVox17m9TqPvqhvvPfCRXo0YJ1pFc=s0-d)
I'm not sure what Jon would think .... but I'm certainly inspired to get out the sewing machine. And I think my machine would be quite eager to sew on that.

Do you know who else sewed?
