Again another episode occurs, proving the need for my Landlord University (see my other website).
A week ago, I called and left a message for S. the crazy building manager telling her I would be moving out at the end of the month. I never heard from her. I was thinking I should call her again, when my roommate Sz read aloud an email from said crazy building manager. "Will you be moving out too? I have some friends--girls from Worcester State--who want to look at the place. If I can get the same four girls to live there they can pay less. $350 a month."
WHAT?
How can you just do that? I'm going to arbitrarily lower the rent--but not for you. Other people.
That's insane. And I protest this.
Is there no regulation in the rental world? I just don't get it.
