Stir Crazy

While I can't really say that I'm suffering from "cubism" (a state of restless confinement brought on by passing extended periods of time inside an office cube) since I have an office rather than a cube, my office isn't much bigger than a cube. And it's located in the basement. Thus, I have cubism! (As far as I know, I made up that usage and definition, but I could be wrong. And no, I'm not going to google it just to check. Deal with it!)

If I have to stare at one more 990-PF form (the tax form that foundations fill out) today, or enter in any more data into Paradigm (our Fundraising database software) I will go postal! But hooray for the Foundation Center for providing the information. It is very useful.

Speaking of postal (hello, obvious link), there was a cry for postage in the office today. I emerged from my mini-office brandishing my John Wayne stamps, but was turned down on the grounds that they were "too cool" to waste on the piece of mail in question.

(That episode was included just so I could mention my John Wayne stamps. I am shameless, and shamelessly admit so.)

Tonight I am accompanying K. and her beau B. to Clark University to see a performance of Tis a Pity She's a Whore. Should be interesting... I'll fill ya'll in later. The only info I could find online was the rehearsal schedule. Not particularly useful to moi.

I could rant about a bunch o' stuff in the news lately, but I'm just tired of it all!

Public Service Announcement: Will everyone please contribute to WBUR so they can stop fundraising and I can go back to listening to real programming while at work? Thank you.
