The Play's the Thing....

Opening night went amazingly well! I haven't seen any reviews yet, but I know everyone involved with the play was pleasantly surprised. Personally, the sound cues went quite well, and the audience laughed generouslly at all our slapstick, kitsch-y jokes. I was very happy and relieved.

However, I woke up Saturday morning with no voice. There is a frog lodged in my throat, and I wish he would move! I have a bit of a voice that belongs to someone else, and I've come to the conclusion that an ear-nose-throat doctor could make a fortune on me (in general those systems are just a mess).

I'm finally going to see Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy today! Hooray. Part of me feels guilty for spending such a lovely day inside, but I don't have a lot of energy to appreciate the outdoors, and my attempts yesterday to enjoy the weather resulted in me sleeping in the park (I had planned to write in my journal, but that didn't quite happen).
