If an actor has stage fright, what do crew members get? Do I have sound fright? Last night, as with most final dress rehersals, was not great--not for the actors, and not for me, who some how put on the completely wrong sound track. It's possible an audience wouldn't have even noticed, but I was horrified. And, I feel in my terrified nervousness, was just another reason for the director to rue the day she ever talked me in to doing sound. Of course, it doesn't help that the actors don't have the sense to talk over some of the sound effects. Perhaps the battle effects were a bit loud, but it's war damn it--you're supposed to have to shout over such sounds. Whatever. I'll dim them down a bit for tonight, but I think it's rather silly.
Tomorrow I get a play repreive as it will be Jon's birthday dinner down in Providence. I have to make a cake. I can at least do that for him. But what kind of cake? Hmm... culinary creativity stirs.
Work goes on. There are still financial coding issues to discuss, but I so abhor the thought. I'd much rather play with the webpage, which I have been doing all morning quite happily. I love digging through the old photos and the historical information. CEEH has come amazingly far in such a short time (not quite 14 years).
