Oooh....

Theres's lots of juicy stuff going on at work, but I really can't discuss it.

But what I can discuss is how much fun the staff outing was on Friday! Over thirty of us from all five sites (and most of the administrative staff) got a private duck tour of Boston! Our duck driver - Captain Duckpin - was a 3-time Coast Guard bowling champion. He was great fun, and we all thoroughly enjoyed the ride and learned new things about Boston.

Duckpin dropped us off at Faneuil Hall, where we all ate lunch at the famous Durgin Park - "Established Before You Were Born." I had an absolutely fabulous piece of chicken pot pie and some of the best acorn squash ever. It was so delicious! Then we were free for the rest of the day! Lots of us went shopping afterwards, and I picked up some silk long underwear to wear while walking to work this winter. My fun purchase were some cool green earrings with a matching bracelet and a funky hat.

But being the consciencious worker that I am, I did go back to work for a couple hours to get some of my reports for Monday out of the way.

And tomorrow is the Knit Out! I'll write all about it.
