I am the proud purchaser of a digital camera from EBay!
This event constitutes multiple firsts for me: buying something off of EBay and buying my first digital camera. I'm so excited! I expect to have it next week--in time to experiment and take it to Florida. HOORAY!
And what kind of camera did I choose? Well, for months now I've had my eye on a certain Canon Powershot: A Canon Powershoot A520 4MP Digital Camera to be percise. It's small but not so small that I'll lose it (I've heard of that happening, believe it or not), easy enough for an idiot like me to use, but with enough zoom and options that I can experiment and become a more adept picture-taker (I dare not use the word "photographer" to describe me).
I'm so excited.
So excited that I have not even yet mentioned a miraculous event: I have been given a new chair for my office. More to the point: I've been allowed to choose what chair I want (out of the vast number of office chairs donated to us by a redecorating bank). It has a high back and arm rests. It's awesome. Actually, it's a fairly nondescript chair but my previous chair was so nondescript as to be quite awful.
It's been another quiet day of getting things done. I love it.
