I'm sorry for Dick Chaney's friend, but it's funny. It's really funny that Dick Cheney accidentally shot his friend while hunting.
I'm sorry about the hassel the snow causes so many people, but I love snow. I really love snow. I thoroughly enjoyed walking to work today. I put on my silk long underwear, tucked my pants into my socks, laced up the boots, and off I went. Surprisingly enough, most people actually shoveled (I've had prior history of poor shoveling etiquette with Bostonians), but enough snow was on the sidewalks so that I made that great crunchy sound treading over it. I love that crunchy snow sound.
Tonight is the first meeting of the JP Knitters! I can't wait. I made a new fun furry scarf this weekend, and in Providence on Saturday I bought this great wool yarn in verigated coral colors. It's chunky and funky, but I need to figure out what I want to do with it. I got it Spectrum India, which used to be a book store (I mean, at that location) but the new store is so fun that I can hardly mourn the loss of the books (especially with the Brown University Book store across the street. I also got a pair of really cute red suede clogs by On Your Feet (sister company to Chinese Laundry... but I definitly like On Your Feet better).
And--how could I forget? -- I got a rasberry berret. OK, OK, I'm sorry, it's more like a dark eggplant beret, but can you blame me for wanting a "rasberry beret?" And yes, you will have the Prince song in your head for the rest of the day.
