Deadlines

"Deadlines are important," quoth the president about the impending deadline for Medicare-D (signing up without penalties).

However, deadlines are not important, apparently, when they have to do with Iraq.

::Sigh::

I don't know why I bother to point out these inconsistencies -- no one seems to care, really, that the administration's logic is purely circumstantial.

I am spending a rainy Saturday afternoon in the office. Yes, I am at work. Ugh. But, really, I'd be holed up at home playing the Sims or reading or not knitting my cardigan -- so at least this is useful and highly productive.

I have so many projects piling up, I felt I needed to come in.

But because Weekend America was just discussing one of my favorite topics -- procrastination -- I felt a need to stop and take a moment to point you in the direction of a research paper on said subject: Read This Paper Later.

Brilliant.

OK, back to addressing envelopes and printing out invitations.
