Fun is on the way

I am so excited (so what else is new, right?)

This weekend is the 30th Annual Greek Festival at St. Spyradin's in Worcester, MA. This Greek Orthodox Community is so dedicated to their Greek festival that even the main page of their website for their church is "grecianfestival.org".

They put on such a big (3-day) festival that it only happens every other year. I'm so thrilled that 2006 is an "other year." Hooray!

Ouzo and music and dancing in circles. And baklava. Of course. I can't wait. In fact, I choose Grecian Festival over the highly lauded "Chowda" Festival in Newport, Rhode Island. Who wants to eat chowder in June? It'll be all hot 'n stuff. Ugh. I'm sure it's a great time, but I'd rather go Grecian (and Grecian is cheaper, too).

OK, I need to go do something work-related now. I'm planning the "tea" at Ruggles Street for our "most supportive friends" (a.k.a. people who give us money). These little events we put on are usually a good time, and with staff as the speakers, you get an inside look at the heart of our organization. Nice and "warm 'n fuzzy."
