This quote (brought to you by Google) sums up my feelings so well:
"Suburbia is where the developer bulldozes out the trees, then names the streets after them."
- Bill Vaughan
I don't know who this Bill Vaughan guy is, but I need to find out.

Perfect Quote
Google has given me the perfect quote for gift buying - specifically the wedding/house-warming variety.
Of course, Google didn't create the quote. Along with the quote comes a new blog which I shall spend insane amounts of time reading (blog born August 2005): The Miscellaneous Mischievous Misadventures of Misbhavens.
Now, here's the quote:

Now, here's the quote:
Nothing says, 'I have no idea what to get you,' quite like giant beige bath
towels.
See, perfect.

Inspiration
Those of you who knew me in high school might recall my love of collecting quotes. Well, while looking for a quote about volunteering to put on my organization's webpage (in the midst of website updates and renovations) I found this one by Susan J. Ellis. I can't really use it on work's site, but I can share it here.
Volunteers rock!
Paul Revere earned his living as a silversmith. But what do we remember him for? His volunteer work. All activism is volunteering in that it's done above and beyond earning a living and deals with what people really care passionately about. Remember, no one gets paid to rebel. All revolutions start with volunteers.
Volunteers rock!
