So Richard Lewis was really funny. (Obvious statement #1 of this post). We saw him at Boston's Comedy Connection. The opening act was Ira Proctor who easily won the audience over with his Dunkin' Donuts jokes/rant.
But back to Richard Lewis (who is, to me, one of those people who must always be referred to by his full name). It was the last show of his 8-month tour, so he was very "whatever goes" which I like in a comic. If it was a very crafted show than he pulled it off with an incredible amount of "fake spontaneity." I loved every second of it. I also loved the chocolate martini (both of them, actually).
On another front: When I regain some disposable income I will be purchasing Clearlake's new album. They were mentioned on NPR as an alternative to the up and coming Arctic Monkeys (who I also enjoy). One of the things I enjoy about Clearlake is how accessible they are online--in terms of making their music available. Visit their other site to listen free to three of their songs. I gotta say I love their new single "Neon" because the harmonica is really kick-ass.
And now... back to work. I got in to the office before 8:00am (why, I have no idea) so I need a little break, but it's back to work. I've got photo collages, etc, to make.
